Hometown:

I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa! But if you ask me where I call home, I would have to say Sparta, NJ, where I spent my teenage years and where my parents still reside.

What Inspires Me:

People inspire me! I love being able to learn from family, friends, coworkers, etc.  I enjoy tying in my passion for cooking and nutrition into my love for people by cooking for others and hosting (healthy) dinners. 

Guiltiest Food Pleasure:

Taylor Ham. There is nothing better than a sleepy Sunday morning trip to the local deli and getting taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. 

Areas of Specialization:

I’ve worked a lot with meat and produce, gaining a good chunk of experience on a farm in South Carolina. Additionally, I have experience with sauces, meat processing, food safety and regulations, sensory analysis and nutrition. On the business front, I specialize in marketing and recruitment.

When I'm Not on the Bench:

I’m learning! There is always so much going on here, so I find myself just asking questions and watching everyone work their foodie magic. I would like to exercise my knowledge of business and marketing in my future at Culinex, and contribute to the expansion of this great company!
