The beauty of working here is being able to work on different things. I will continue to learn every day.


Hometown:

I grew up in the biggest city in Europe - Moscow, Russia. I love this city with all my heart because culture and technology are firmly united there and the people are the the most important part of what makes it special. A few years ago, I moved to Seattle. It is very different from my home but beautiful in its own way.

What Inspires Me:

There is a folk wisdom in the Russian language that answers this question: “Tell me who your friend is, and I will tell you who you are.” The people around me, my family, friends, and colleagues, are the ones who inspire me to move forward and be better. They always have something to teach and share, it is interesting to communicate with them and even just watch what they do.

Guiltiest Food Pleasure:

As bad as it is for health, I love sweets. Not a single article in a medical journal will stop me from enjoying a chocolate bar. And I get even more pleasure trying a new dessert or sweet that I've not tried before.

Areas of Specialization:

Prior to joining CuliNEX, I was working with a plant-based meat company and bring experience formulating and screening ingredients, especially plant-based proteins and flavors. At CuliNEX, I look forward to working on many categories of food and expanding my expertise.

When I'm Not in the Office:

When I am out of the office – I prefer to explore. And that goes for everything, whether it is just another new brewery in town or a mountain to snowboard or hike. I am now exploring being a streamer and cook food while streaming, meeting and speaking to new people.
