I’m excited about the incredible variety of clients, project types, product categories, and overall opportunity for continuous learning.
Hometown:
Originally from NYC, I moved to Seattle thinking I would stay a few months but 20+ years later, I’m still here and happy to call Seattle home.
What Inspires Me:
Travel, food, family, friends, gardens, parks, and great patios, exploring new places, bookstore browsing, craft ideas (that I will never actually do!), entrepreneurs’ stories, Great British Bake Off.
Guiltiest Food Pleasure:
Hmmm…probably pizza (thin crust, deep dish and everything in between), or maybe chips, salsa & guacamole, or French fries, or chocolate, or does beer count as a food group…
Areas of Specialization:
I’ve been working in the food industry for 15+ years, predominantly in product/project management roles. I’ve managed product development projects from concept to launch at food companies in multiple categories spanning refrigerated, shelf-stable, and frozen.
When I'm Not in the Office:
I enjoy hanging out with my husband, friends & family; all things food & drink - cooking, learning about different food cultures, edible gardening, going to breweries, and of course eating; exploring places nearby and across the globe; walking adventures; and proudly serving on the board of Project Feast, a non-profit that empowers refugee and immigrant cooks by preparing them for culinary careers and becoming food entrepreneurs.
Education:
- Bachelor of Arts, Psychology - Bates College, Lewiston, MA
