The Research Chefs Association is the leading professional community for research and development chefs and food scientists. As members, we practice its discipline of Culinology® - the blending of culinary arts and the science of food.

The Institute of Food Technology (IFT)

The Institute of Food Technology is an organization dedicated to creating a global forum for the advancement of food technology and innovation. Focused on the science aspect of our business, our food scientists remain active in the IFT's local and national communities.

University Partners

Louisiana State University, School of Nutrition and Food Sciences is the premier food science program in the State of Louisiana, and one of the leading food science programs in the country. The school has an extensive pilot plant facility with more than 100 pieces of food processing equipment. CuliNex can execute almost any pilot work in this facility while working with the program chair and his post-doctorial students on cutting edge patent worthy projects.

Washington State University & University of Idaho, School of Food Science – These schools form a coordinated academic program as the School of Food Science. Resources include pilot plants, food preparation laboratories, sensory evaluation laboratories and research laboratories as well as the UI Food Technology Center, WSU Creamery, and collaboration with the USDA Western Wheat Quality Laboratory. The proximity of the universities to Seattle allows CuliNex to have easy access to these top rated resources.
