The people, the founder Mark Crowell, and the company culture are the best part of working at CuliNEX.
I am a military brat, so I didn’t have a particular hometown growing up. When Dad retired from the military we moved to Dunnellon, FL. My husband and I spent many years on the West Coast in Northern CA and Seattle WA areas. We’ve just recently moved back to Dunnellon, so I’ve come full circle – back home.
What Inspires Me:
I am truly inspired by the younger generation, especially those who work here at CuliNEX. They are the future, and they are so dedicated, creative and hardworking. It’s not an easy world these days, but they are definitely up to the challenge.
Guiltiest Food Pleasure:
Simple comfort food dinners prepared by husband – just can’t get better at any restaurant. We often joke we could start up a food truck with these dishes. We enjoy adding various dishes to our menu.
Area of Specialization:
I am a bookkeeper through and through. I love to take a messy set of books and get them all straightened out, so the numbers make sense. I have worked most of my career in CPA firms. At CuliNEX I am growing to encompass data analysis skills into my repertoire – digging deeper than just the numbers on the financial statements.
When I'm Not on the Bench:
I collect (hoard) vintage and depression glass with a specialty in creamer and sugar sets. I am an avid reader of mysteries, both new and old. I am learning to play the piano, and I crochet, as well. Most important, my mission for 2022 is to be Super Nana racking up frequent flyer miles visiting my daughter, son and my three young grandchildren.
